We’re All Stars with Converse
Jael was commissioned to create a visual piece that reflected the core values of Nubi Collective and Converse All Stars. Taking inspiration from the art of collage and learning how to animate as part of the process, she created a vibrant animation highlighting the trails we can blaze when we come together.
Through powerful figures and uplifting words, she highlighted social justice issues and the importance of equality, bringing the All star community and beyond together.
“2020 was the year that my art really became a mouth-piece for my mission. Part of that being to inspire a new generation of thinkers and doers to create towards the future and move with love. Being selected to become a Converse All Star for the messages I shared and the vision I was creating for my community felt surreal.”
